Sunway University and National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) jointly hosted the first National Cancer Congress Malaysia 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June 21 to 23, 2024.
The congress brought together experts on cancer control from healthcare professionals, researchers, politicians, and government agencies such as the Malaysian Ministry of Health, both in Malaysia and abroad.
The first day began with keynote speeches by Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, Malaysian Minister of Health, and UICC President Jeff Dunn AO. A series of presentations on cancer control by experts in various fields followed this. On the third day, ACF Dr Kawahara gave a speech on “BEAUTY: Sustainable Health Link towards UHC” at a special invited session.
